Pollok Country park plays an important part in the lives of many communities across Glasgow. The Friends of Pollok Country hopes to enable those communities to get more involved in making a positive difference to the park.
We’re a group of park users who care about Pollok Country park. We are an informal association, with a constitution and a rapidly growing membership.
We are working on lots of different projects to improve the park, which you can read about on our website.
Why not join the group (membership is free, although can make a small donation if you wish): You aren’t committing to anything, but more members gives us a louder voice, and helps us get more done.
You can find minutes from our meetings, and details of our work parties and plans, on our news page. Our constitution, as amended at the 2019 AGM, is available here too.
If you’d like to make a one-off donation to the group, you can do so via our donations page.
Now that the Easter Holidays are over in Glasgow the restrictions on cars entering the park now apply on Saturdays and Sundays only. Monday to Friday the car parks are open.
Please note that no vehicles will be allowed in the park over the Easter holiday which is from Friday 2nd April until Sunday 18th April inclusive.
We’ve been working to update our website over the last few days. We wanted to make it easier to find information about the park, and to highlight some of the projects the Friends group is involved in. You can click on the new ‘Projects’ menu item, to see the key work we’ve been involved in. …
You can contact us via email to firstname.lastname@example.org, on facebook at facebook.com/friendsofpollok and on twitter @friendsofpollok. You can join us too, or if you have membership enquiries, please email email@example.com
